Venezuela Is A Good Study For Preppers

While Venezuelans situation is purely political it does show a good example of what a state of economic collapse looks like. The fact that they have been able to maintain where they are without total anarchy setting in is amazing.

Imagine the United States after a nation wide catastrophe where supplies are not getting delivered to your cities. Imagine the economic plunge that would occur and the "corrective" steps the gov't would take that most likely would exasperate the problem. Imagine how people would begin to act at the banks, ATM's and grocery store.

These are real world problems that actually happen. Doesn't it make sense to have some preparedness for when it does? What do you really lose in being prepared?
