The earliest paper Paul can remember writing in grade school was a comparison between the San Francisco and New Madrid earthquakes. Growing up at the end of the Cold War, those pesky Soviet missiles were a constant concern.
Paul's prepping notched up after he started reading apocalyptic fiction like "The Postman" and the "Out of the Ashes" series in the mid 80's.
Paul was involved in education technology sales for 26 years but in 2014 realized his long term dream of working for himself and opening HTF - The Survival Store to help others prepare for...What If...?

Steve has been around the world and seen it all...or at least a lot! He is a prepper/homesteader.
Steve has a YouTube channel called "Contingency Preps" where he demonstrates his gardening, homesteading, prepping, survival and other manly skills and political commentary. Check it out!
When not working in his homestead and gardening he can be found at the store with Danny his guard dog.

Kathy is a 3 time Ironman triathalete (4 soon) and is the glue that holds Paul together!

About HTF - The Survival Store
HTF - The Survival Store is a new retail and online store that specializes in survival, preparedness and homesteading products.
Whether you are just starting to think about how to prepare your family should a crisis happen or if you are a seasoned prepper, we are a one-stop shop for your product needs.
We buy car, home & life insurance, but what about simply investing to ensure you and your family have the supplies on hand to survive should local resources not be available? We tend to assume that food, water and shelter will always be available. Having emergency supplies on hand at home, work and in the car could possibly be the most important insurance you ever purchase for your family.
Our goal is to create an inviting atmosphere that is a one stop location for your survival needs. You should not have to bounce from surplus store to sporting goods store to electronics stores to have what you needed to prepare for a crisis. We want our store to be a great place to share ideas and learn and teach others how to survive.
We carry: Long/short term food storage, seed vaults, water storage and purification, bug out bags, get home bags, backpacks, lockdown kits, first aid kits, power solutions, communications, light & heat, tools, safety gear, books & publications and a lot more.
